The Hurliman Scholarship Foundation Info

The Hurliman Scholarship Foundation will offer four-year college scholarships to high school seniors who reside in one of three Colorado counties -- Fremont, Custer or Pueblo. The Foundation may also award a number of one-year scholarships. The applicant must demonstrate superior scholastic ability as evidenced by a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. They also must receive a minimum ACT score of 23 and/or minimum SAT score of 1150. The student must be accepted into a U.S. accredited college or university as a full-time student and will not be restricted in the field of study he/she wants to pursue. The scholarship provides a four-year undergraduate award that covers tuition, room and board and book allowance (up to $25,000/year). The Hurliman Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit foundation that honors the memory of the late Jack C. Hurliman and his wife, Edith E. Hurliman. They were long-time residents of Cañon City, Colorado.
